Covid-19 financial support

Interventions to support customers with performing positions economically affected by the covid-19 outbreak.

Banca CF+ S.p.A., within the framework of the COVID-19 emergency, has implemented the interventions of the Government and of the ABI Agreements through which support measures have been provided for companies and individuals with performing loans economically affected by the impact of the epidemic on our country.

Companies and individuals meeting the requirements can access the instruments provided by:

  • “Cura Italia” Law Decree converted into Law No 27 on 24 April 2020 and subsequent updates

It contains measures to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (including self-employed VAT registered workers, including professionals and sole proprietorships) that self-certify that they have temporarily suffered liquidity shortages as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, including the possibility of requesting the suspension of instalments or leasing fees relating to mortgages and other loans. To access the measures, the request had to be made by the customer, who does not have debt positions classified as impaired exposures, by 31 January 2021.

For companies that already have a “Cura Italia” moratorium in place until 30 June 2021, the “Sostegni-Bis” Law Decree extends the term of the suspension, limited only to the principal amount (where applicable), from 1 July to 31 December 2021 upon notice from the company itself, which can also be sent by email to info@bancacfplus.it (to be sent by 15 June 2021 specifying in the subject line the customer name and the relationship code for which the extension is requested).

Banca CF+ will take care of the request and will reply within 10 working days from the receipt of the request.

  • Solidarity fund for first home loans (“Gasparrini Fund”)

It provides for the possibility of requesting the suspension of mortgage instalments for up to 18 months (including any previous suspension measures already taken) for holders of a mortgage taken out to purchase a property used as their main home, in the event of temporary difficulties which are bound to have a negative impact on the overall income of the family unit. The deadline for availing of the benefits provided by the Solidarity Fund for mortgages for the purchase of the first home, even if they have been amortised for less than a year, is extended by the “Sostegni-Bis” Law Decree until 31 December 2021.

  • ABI Agreement “Imprese in Ripresa 2.0” – 6 March 2020 Addendum, 22 May 2020 Addendum, ABI Notice 26 June 2020 and New Addendum to the 2019 Credit Agreement of 17 December 2020

It provides for measures to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (including self-employed VAT registered workers, professionals and sole proprietorships) and larger enterprises facing the COVID-19 emergency, including the possibility of suspending the principal or extending the maturity of loans outstanding on 31 January 2020. To access the measures, the applicant must not have debt positions classified as impaired exposures. Requests for suspension must be received by 31 March 2021 (unless extended) and the suspension of loan instalment payments may not exceed a maximum duration of 9 months. This period includes any suspension periods already granted on the same loan as a result of the COVID-19 health emergency.

  • Agreement between ABI and the Consumers’ Association of 21 April and 16 December 2020

It provides for the possibility of suspending the principal portion of instalments on mortgages secured by real estate and other loans repayable by instalments disbursed before 31 January 2020 to individuals, self-employed workers and self-employed professionals who do not fall under the benefits provided by the “Gasparrini Fund”.

In order to meet the needs of customers heavily damaged by the COVID-19 emergency, where the requirements to apply the legal suspensions or ABI moratoria do not exist, Banca CF+ evaluates the possibility of granting support measures on a negotiated basis.
